Terms & Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - GRAND TOURING LIFESTYLE CLUB
Welcome to the GRAND TOURING - LIFESTYLE CLUB. These Terms and Conditions regulate access to our digital platform and participation in the events, routes and experiences promoted by our community. By browsing the site or expressing interest in participating in an event, the user fully accepts these terms.
1. LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND TECHNICAL ORGANISATION
1.1. The GRAND TOURING - LIFESTYLE CLUB operates exclusively as an informal community of car enthusiasts, a conceptual brand and a communication platform, being solely responsible for the creative concept, community curation and technical design of the car itineraries (roadbooks).
1.2. GRAND TOURING is not a travel agency, tour operator or independent commercial entity. For all legal purposes, the technical organisation, hiring of suppliers (such as accommodation and catering), sales, management of bookings and invoicing of all experiences are exclusively ensured by the licensed partner travel agency, to be specifically identified at each event, registered with Turismo de Portugal under the respective RNAVT number.
2. REGISTRATIONS AND FINANCIAL PROCESSING
2.1. GRAND TOURING does not collect, handle or store funds from participants. All payments related to registrations for events are processed and received directly into the bank accounts or payment platforms of the partner travel agency, which will issue the respective applicable legal invoice-receipt.
2.2. Expressing interest in an event through the website of GRAND TOURING does not guarantee immediate reservation of a place. The final validation of the registration occurs only after the confirmation of payment with the partner agency.
2.3. The places for each event are strictly limited to ensure the exclusivity and safety of the caravan.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1. Given the need to book luxury infrastructures well in advance (such as boutique hotels and fine dining restaurants), the cancellation and refund conditions strictly follow the rules of the partner travel agency and the contracted hotel suppliers.
3.2. Unless stated otherwise in the specific programme of the event, late cancellations or failure to attend on the day of the event do not entitle one to any refund.
4. RESPONSIBILITY IN DRIVING AND HIGHWAY CODE
4.1. The events promoted by GRAND TOURING are tourist and lifestyle tours, and do not constitute, under any circumstances, speed trials, regularity rallies or motor competitions.
4.2. Each participant is solely and exclusively responsible for driving their vehicle, and is legally obliged to scrupulously respect the Portuguese Highway Code and the instructions of local authorities.
4.3. GRAND TOURING (as an informal community) and the partner travel agency decline any responsibility for fines, violations, accidents, material damage or personal injury resulting from negligent, reckless driving or non-compliance with the law by the participants.
5. VEHICLE AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
5.1. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure that their vehicle is in perfect mechanical and safety condition to face the proposed itinerary.
5.2. The vehicle must be driven with all the mandatory legal documentation in the national territory, including a valid Periodic Mandatory Inspection (IPO) and the respective valid Motor Liability Insurance.
6. IMAGE RIGHTS AND CONTENT CAPTURE
6.1. During the events, the organisation (or subcontracted professionals) may capture images, audio and video (including using drones) for archival purposes, promotion on social media and dissemination of the club.
6.2. By participating in the event, the member authorises the use and publication of these images without any right to financial compensation, provided that the organisation will avoid the explicit exposure of strictly confidential data or registrations, whenever feasible.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Para qualquer litígio emergente dos serviços turísticos prestados, as partes submetem-se ao foro e às entidades de Resolução Alternativa de Litígios de Consumo contratualizadas pela agência de viagens parceira responsável pela operação do evento.
